Cassie Elaine Steen

October 7, 1978 – December 2, 2018

Age 40

Cassie devoted her entire adult life to caring for her family. Her unending devotion to the people in her life was seen by everyone who knew and loved her. Even in the hardest of times, Cassie did her best to keep a smile on and remain a rock for her family and most especially her children, whom she loved more than anything. She will be greatly missed.

Preceded in death by stepfather Mark Willard.

Survived by husband John; children Kaylee, John and Lindsey; mother Linda Connor; father- and mother-inlaw John and Linda Steen; sister Carie Elkins (Josh); other loving friends and relatives.

Reception of Friends Saturday, December 8, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. followed by Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m., both at Bellevue Memorial Chapel.

Memorials will be directed by the family.

    I’m so sorry for your loss. Cassie was always smiling when she was up at Fort Crook. I will always remember her smiling face. My prayers are with you, John, and the kids. The Fort loves you guys.

    We knew John as a teenager, before he met and married Cassie.. We are so sorry to hear of her passing.
    We’re praying for John, their three children, and all the rest who knew and loved Cassie. May the Lord provide comfort during this difficult time.
