Dahlman, Carl Michael Tech Sgt. USAF Age 32 Tech Sgt. Carl Michael Dahlman “went to his last post alert” in Bellevue, NE on January 9, 2016. Carl was born on March 2, 1983 to Jennifer Dahlman at 0915 at the Lemoore Naval Hospital, California. He attended Lemoore High School and graduated class of 2001 as a varsity goalie for the two-time WYL champion water polo team under Coach Kristen Ruby. Carl enlisted without question into the United States Air Force on April 29, 2003 where he was a member of the 1st Airborne Command and Control Squadron. He worked as an Airborne Mission System Specialist Evaluator and Instructor aboard the E-48 aircraft. Anyone who knew Carl would appreciate the following: Carl was a stubborn, sarcastic, and beyond hardheaded guy. However, more so he was incredibly brave, extremely trustworthy, and undeniably loyal. His heart was huge for any and all. He enjoyed traveling and sharing with his family and loved ones pieces of the world. He became an uncle, formally, in March 2014; however, many considered him “Crazy Uncle Carl” for far longer. He is an amazing son, brother, uncle, friend, and godfather. He is preceded in death by grandparents Larry Edward Dahlman and Levita Charlene (Wright) Dahlman. His surviving loved ones are Jennifer Dahlman, Cara (Barker) Tuman, Richard “Quad” Tuman IV, Michelle Dahlman, Lainie Denton, Marquis Kurt as well as Uncles, Aunts, and a small circle of cousins in Castle Rock, WA. A MILITARY CEREMONY will be held graveside at Silver Lake Cemetery in Cowlitz County, Washington on Friday the 15th of January 2016 at 1pm.
