Butch was truly one of my best friends in this world. Although we had not seen each other in years, we chatted each and every holiday. Usually, he was the one that initiated the conversation and always wanted me to know that he was thinking about me.
Butch and I worked together for the Colorado Department of Transportation back in the 1990’s. There was no one better to work with than him. He was always cheerful and smiling even when things were tough. He had this way of making me feel like I was a part of his family.
I am going to really miss you my friend and brother. Love you Butch.
