Thank you for kind words, if it wasn’t for you two, I would have never had Ben & Worldwide Aircraft Recovery, Ltd as part of my life.

Ben was my American 5th cousin. We shared an ancestor in common, Thomas Nattrass b. 1755 of Stripe House, Sinderhope, Allendale, Northumberland, England, my 4x ggf. Thomas and his wife Ann Nattrass (Goodfellow) had many children,

Stripe House still exists. It is a stone farmhouse over 250 years old, but abandoned as at 2004. Someone wii restore it hopefully.

The families who left Allendale in 1849 on the “Guy Mannering”, including Ben’s ancestor family, are still remembered in Allendale. The local village school in recent times put.on a play to commemorate. My 3x gg, Joseph Nattrass died in 1844, otherwise my historic family would probably also have been on the boat to the USA.

Ben sounds a great guy, well worthy of the Nattrass/ Goodfellow monikers. We will remember you all on 3/4 July and send our sympathiy for your loss and our good wishes.

Alistair (Nattrass descendant) and Julie Young
(Now living in West Yorkshire, England)
