Shannon, You have my deepest sympathy. I enjoyed visiting with Barb at BEA and Delta Kappa Gamma meetings. May all of your treasured memories of your mother provide you comfort at this time.
So sorry for your loss. Enjoyed working with her at Bertha Barber. Sympathies to the family.
So sorry for your loss. Barb is a beautiful woman inside and out. I have many memories of BPS bowling, teaching with Barb at Bertha Barber, and she was a wonderful teacher of my oldest son. We will miss you!
So sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May The GOD OF ALL COMFORT, comfort you and bring peace to your heart, at this difficult time. II Corinthians 1:3-4
I am so sorry for the loss of this beautiful woman. She made everyone feel so welcome and a part of her family and had the goldest of all hearts, and I feel blessed to have known her and been a part of her life over the past 11 years. She will be missed. It was very sad to see the changes over the past few years; Alzheimer’s is a very cruel disease and I pray for a cure soon. My prayers to all her family and friends. Please let us know how we can help.
Dean, Greg & Pam; Brad and Danice; Shannon and Scott and family: I just learned on Friday about Barb’s passing. My deepest sympathy and condolences. I’m so glad I was able to see her when I was in Omaha a year and half ago. She was a beautiful lady, devoted wife, mother and grandmother and teacher of so many little ones. Rest in Peace Barb. Love, Pat Mauro
Dean, family and friends, we are saddened by the passing of Barb and wishing you all peace. She had such a beautiful spirit and was clearly a loving wife and mother, cherished by many. We feel grateful to have been in a circle of friends that overlapped to include Barb and Dean. We know everyone close to Barb has a lifetime of amazing memories of this special lady. Much love to all.
Just looked up Dean and Barb Eckel and found Barb’s obituary. Dean, I’m so sad to hear she suffered from Alzheimer’s. My Barbara died in 2016. My second wife, Sally, has Alzheimer’s now. I know you miss Barb. She was a gracious and loving mother and wife.
