Age 84

Barb was born to Stanley and Anne Linhart on September 15, 1939, in Omaha, NE. She married Ted Goolsby on May 2, 1959.  She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. She later worked at the Bellevue Fire Station where people were always greeted with a smile. Her children fondly remember her delicious cooking and Pecan Pie.  Her Grandchildren remember her love of Christmas and her Santa Collection.  She loved winter in Texas where they made some wonderful friendships.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years Ted Goolsby; children Bob Goolsby (Marie), Susan Goolsby, Tom Goolsby (Rose) and Linda Gentleman(Mark); grandchildren Stephanie Peacock (Kyle), David Goolsby, Crystal Hraban (Clint), Megan Dawson (Sean) and Madison Gentleman; great-grandchildren Bailey and Kara Hraban, Lukas and Brynn Dawson, Grayson, Parker and Kallen Peacock.

Please join us as we celebrate the life of Barbara Goolsby on September 14, 2024.  Family and friends will gather at Bellevue Cemetery, 1303 Lord Boulevard, for a short Graveside Service, at 11:00 a.m. followed by a celebration of Barb’s life at the Bellevue Volunteer Firefighter Hall, 2108 Franklin Street, Bellevue.
