Ann Schrader
February 17, 1945 ~ August 21, 2022
Age 77
Ann worked for SAC Headquarters and Stratcom for 37 years as a secretary to many colonels and generals.
She thoroughly enjoyed her cats. She would rescue and find homes for strays.
She was a very giving person and was involved in many activities until her health prevented participation. Ann was a lifelong member of St. Peter and Paul parish, and she and John would donate to and serve meals at the Stephens Center. They also delivered meals to the shut-ins and visited with them. Ann helped get two elderly ladies to Mass on Sundays, and assisted with the funeral luncheons at the church.
Preceded in death by her husband John Schrader and her parents Michael and Elizabeth Cvitak.
Survived by her brother Michael Cvitak, Jr. (Barbara); sister Jeanne Delgado; brothers-in-law Paul W. Schrader (Clare) and Robert L. Schrader (Susan); sister-in-law Susan Perrin (Dave); stepson James Schrader (Lisa); stepdaughter Kim Whitaker (Ty); step grandchildren; and her very special lifelong friends Karen and Bob Sink.
Rosary: Friday, September 9, 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., all at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 5912 South 36th Street, Omaha.
Inurnment: St. John Cemetery Columbarium
In lieu of flowers, the family requests Masses be offered or donations to the Stephens Center.
