Alice Frances Laski
October 10, 1933 – April 30, 2024
Age 90
Alice Frances Laski was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. In 1952 she married her school sweetheart, Thaddeus. Together they started and raised their family as they moved around the United States for military assignments in Illinois, California, Michigan, Wisconsin, Mississippi, and finally, Nebraska. She has been a resident of Nebraska since 1965. Alice attended Bellevue University to attain her Bachelor’s Degree in English and then attended Creighton University for her Master’s Degree in English.
Alice is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Anna Sowa; her brothers, Andrew, Mitchell, Joseph, and Stanley; her sisters, Adeline and Loretta; her husband, Thaddeus W. Laski; and her son, Paul A. Laski.
She is survived by her children: sons, Peter, Richard, and Michael; and daughters, Sandra Hobbs and Patricia Small.
Visitation Monday, May 13 from 5:00 – 6:30 pm with a Vigil Service at 6:30 pm at the Bellevue Memorial Funeral Chapel.
Mass of Christian Burial: Tuesday, May 14, at 10 am at St. Matthew the Evangelist Catholic Church, 12330 S 36th Street, Bellevue, Nebraska.
Interment: Calvary Mausoleum
