Travis Patrick Krause, 57, of Bellevue, Nebraska, went to live with our Lord on Sunday, the 12th of February, 2023. While unexpected, he passed peacefully at his home with his girlfriend by his side.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Kim Shurter; his mother, Jane Krause; his sister and her husband, Christi and Bill Davenport; two nephews, Bobby and Branden Barber, and their families; and many cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jacob Frederick Krause, Jr. Travis was born in Plattsburgh, New York, but spent his early years in Plant City and Tampa, Florida.
He moved to Nebraska in the late 1990’s. He enjoyed listening to and playing music, socializing with his long-time friends, and tinkering on old cars. He loved watching football and professional wrestling, especially the University of Florida Gators and the Dallas Cowboys. He worked as a handyman, custodian, and courier throughout his life. He also enjoyed buying, repairing, and selling household items on the internet. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. Travis always seemed to be there for his friends and family, when needed.
An informal memorial service will be held in the Spring, at Heroes Park in Olde Towne Bellevue. Details will be determined in the near future. His sister will be returning most of his ashes to Florida, and releasing at his father’s graveside.
