We are so sorry for times Gregg will be so missed, We have prayed fervently for healing for him for a while now and we have faith that God has completely done so in heaven. May God give you comfort as each day passes, strength for the tasks ahead and bring fond memories of Gregg to your mind.

    Mrs. Ashenfelter, Samantha and Noah,
I am deeply saddened to learn of Greg’s untimely passing. I was fortunate to have had the pleasure of working alongside Greg at PayPal. Greg was one of the most kind and generous persons I have ever known. I feel as though I know your family because Greg loved to tell me about all of you whenever our work schedules permitted. It was obvious to anyone who knew Greg that his family meant the world to him.
I will be forever grateful for the genuine concern and emotional support Greg gave me when I was facing some serious issues in my own life. I will never forget his warm smile and endearing laugh. Please know that many people share in your sorrow. I hope sharing that Greg touched many lives will bring you comfort and further heighten your pride in how Greg’s life will always be remembered and treasured.

I know Greg as a thoughtful fun man. He took me to see Indiana Jones in LA as a small boy and talked with me on whatever came to mind.I’ll miss him. Very sorry for your loss, he’s a fine man to lose.

I miss my buddy Greg. We fished, played cards, watched movies, told stories, and he could out-BBQ anyone anytime. He was a good, caring family man with a gifted sense of humor. I have to suspect God called him home to enjoy that sense of humor in Heaven. Greg, we miss you immensely beyond what words can even begin to express. The world has been a better place for you being in it. I miss my friend.

    Chong, Sam, Noah, and Family,
I am deeply saddened for you and your loss. I was Greg’s Supervisor for about 5 years and before that we were on the same team for a number of years. He was not only a hard working employee, but a friend, mentor, and advisor. Words cannot describe what a fantastic and wonderful person he was. I have so many wonderful memories of him. He helped me not only mature as a team leader but as a person as well. When I was wearing scarves all the time, he told me that Chong could make beautiful scarves. The same week, he brought me 2. I love them and wear them often. That is the reason why I learned to knit and crochet. When he found out that I was pregnant, he brought me in a gift card to get anything that I might need. I would get busy with meetings, he would make sure that I ate something and didn’t just have energy drinks. Even though, I am about the same age as Sam, he treated me with so much respect as his team leader, but he was also a father figure to me.
