Toshie Roller

Roller, Toshie Mar 22, 1928 – May 13, 2011 Bellevue. Preceded in death by parents; and sister Mitsue. Married, February 6, 1958 in Tokyo, Japan to Harry Roller. After arriving at Offutt AFB in 1970, Toshie began working as a chef from the bowling alley to the NCO Club to the Officers Club to Fontenelle Hills CC to Happy Hollow CC. She retired but not for long. She then worked at Creighton University as a Japanese language instructor for several years. Toshie enjoyed her gardening, spending time with her family, including 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, and traveling with Harry. She is survived by husband Harry E. Roller, SMSgt (Ret.); children, Kunio Wakai, Jerry and Terri Roller, Cindy and Scott Baroway, Wendy and John Perez; sisters, Yukie and Takako Oi; brother Motohiro and wife Yaeko Oi; friends; family; nieces and nephews. VISITATION: Tuesday, May 17, 5-7pm at Bellevue Memorial Chapel, followed by a MEMORIAL SERVICE at 7pm, also at the Chapel. MEMORIALS: SGI Community Center or the Alzheimer’s Association.
