Survived by wife, Judy; children, COL Gregg and wife Meredith, US Army; Brad, Nome, AK; Lori and husband Michael Hemmett, Lincoln, NE; brother, Les and wife Leslie Thompson, Ralston; 6 grandsons, Jacob, Samuel, Daniel Thompson; Matthew Thompson; Ian and Nolan Hemmett; sister in law and brother in law, Janet and Roger Maher, Terre Haute, IN; several nieces and nephews and cousins. MEMORIAL SERVICE: Saturday, June 23, 11am at Bellevue First Presbyterian Church, 1220 Bellevue Blvd. South, Bellevue. Family will receive friends two (2) hours prior to the service at the church. Inurnment: Bellevue Cemetery with full military honors. Memorials: Wounded Warriors Project or First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue.
