Herrman, Nicholas J. “Nick” Age 55 – Aug 15, 2009 Fremont, NE. Passed away after a long and heroic battle with cancer. Nick worked in the restaurant and hospitality industry, and opened many great restaurants from 1974 through 2008. He owned and operated his own restaurant in Fremont, NE for 12 years and was the General Manager of Food Service for Guckenheimer at The Holland Performing Arts Center, Omaha 2006-2009. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Herrman; son, Jacob Herrman, Bellevue; brothers, Davd (and wife Vicki) Wailuku, HI, Terry (and wife Elin) Ames, IA, Tim (and wife Kathy) Phoenix, AZ, Mark (and wife Ingrid) Spokane, WA; sisters, Eileen (and husband Mark) Holzen of Mesa, AZ, Monica (and husband Jim) Tolas, Sumner, WA; and Amy of Grand Rapids, MI. FUNERAL MASS 10am on Thursday August 20th at St. John’s Catholic Church on the Creighton Campus in Omaha. Celebration of Life gathering at The Holland Performing Arts Center Omaha to follow.
