Marie J. Gralewski

Gralewski, Marie J. Apr 12, 1923 – Jan 14, 2011 Bellevue. Marie was born in Lincoln. Her careet began working for the War Department in Washington, DC during WWII. She returned home to work for the state of Nebraska. Later, she transferred to the Air Force as a civilian employee at Offutt AFB. While working as a Commander’s secretary, she met and married Edward Gralewski. They were married for over 50 years. After Federal retirement, she found a passion working at the Bellevue Public Library. Marie was a faithful parishioner and volunteer at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bellevue. She enjoyed her family, travelling and reading. Preceded in death by husband Edward; parents; infant daughter Debra Marie; brother Joseph Dolezal; sister Frances Dolezal; brother-in-law Frank Scanlon. Survived by children, Lawrence, Geri, Steve and wife Eileen; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Marie (Luke), Nicole Marie (Patrick), Alyssa, Stephen Edward; great grandchildren, Trey and Riley Edmonds; sisters, Ann Pogge (Al), Lillian Fish, JoAnn Scanlon; many nieces and nephews. VISITATION: 5-7pm Tuesday, Bellevue Memorial Chapel. Vigil Service: 6pm Tuesday, January 18, Bellevue Memorial Chapel, Bellevue. FUNERAL SERVICE: 10am Wednesday, January 19, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bellevue. Memorials to St. Mary’s Endowment Fund.
